WE HAVE SIGNED THE GENDER DIVERSITY PLEDGE
By signing the Gender Diversity Pledge from the Confederation of Danish Industry, we have committed to 16 principles designed to promote gender diversity.
With the diversity pledge, we commit to working towards greater equality, fairness and diversity — and in doing so, making ourselves an even better workplace.
“Diversity in companies creates a better working environment and improves dynamics and results. We believe that the Gender Diversity Pledge is an important initiative to support. In the construction industry, only 10% of the workforce are women. We see the same picture at CRH, albeit with 29% in senior management and 23% in project management — but we have not reached our goal — far from it — which is why in August 2022 we signed the pledge, and the next steps are now to turn targets into action.”

The first step in 2023 is the implementation of new targets for “Inclusion and diversity” for all managers across the CRH group.
