ESG-PRÆSENTATIONER, ANERKENDELSER OG MEDLEMSSKABER
Vi interagerer kontinuerligt på en transparent måde med miljø-, sociale og governance (ESG) ratings og er stolte af de indsatsområder, som vi aktivt deltager i – og de anderkendelser, som vi har modtaget.
DGNB Premium Medlem
Som den første producent af betonelementer i Danmark er CRH Concrete premium-medlem af Rådet for Bæredygtigt Byggeri. Rådet for Bæredygtigt Byggeri er en non-profit medlemsorganisation sat i verden for at fremme bæredygtighed i bygge- og ejendomsbranchen. Gennem høj faglighed, erfaring og en stærk forankring i branchen, skabes dokumenteret bæredygtig udvikling med følgende emner:
- DGNB
Vi administrerer og udvikler certificeringssystemet DGNB, der anvendes til at dokumentere bæredygtighedstiltag i byggeri, bygninger og byudvikling i Danmark. - EU-Taksonomi
Vi står bag branchens fælles oversættelse af EU-taksonomien til den danske bygge- og ejendomsbranche. Derudover udfører vi tredjepartsvalidering af efterlevelse af taksonomiens kriterier.
Bæredygtig Beton Initiativ
I Bæredygtigt Beton initiativs roadmap er der fremlagt konkrete forslag til, hvordan man fra start til slut i byggerier og anlægsprojekter kan bringe udledningen af CO2 ned. Initiativets målsætning er 70 % reduktion af CO2-udledningen i 2030 i forhold til 2019.
I Bæredygtig Beton initiativet fokuseres på den viden, som vi allerede har samt på de teknologier, der er afprøvet og skal gøres gængse bl.a. via bedre bygherrekrav, tværgående samarbejdsformer og en systematisk vidensindsamling.
Formandsskabet for styregruppen af Bæredygtig Beton Initiativ varetages blandt andet af Vibeke Starup Jacobsen, Director External Operations i CRH Concrete.
BYGGERIETS HANDLETANK FOR BÆREDYGTIGHED
Som en del af DI – Dansk Industri’s Byggeriets handletank for bæredygtighed deltager vi aktivt i følgende arbejdsgrupper:
- Regler og rammer: Bæredygtighedschef Camilla Dyring
- Samarbejdet i bygge- og anlægssektoren: Projektchef Anja Hesthaven
- Cirkulær økonomi: Teknisk chef Lars A. Reimer
I arbejdsgrupperne undersøger, diskuterer, analyserer og prioriterer vi forskellige løsninger, der kan reducere klimaaftrykket og sætte en fælles retning for branchens grønne omstilling. Se 33 konkrete handlingsforslag i netop udgivne rapport (25. januar 2024 her.
SCIENCE BASED TARGETS – CLIMATE ACTION AMBITION
We fully support the goals of the Paris Agreement and are working towards delivery of our ambition to become a net-zero business by 2050.
We have set an industry-leading target to deliver a 30% reduction in absolute carbon emissions by 2030 (from a 2021 base year).
The SBTi has validated that our near-term science-based carbon emissions reduction targets are in line with a 1.5°C pathway.

Morningstar Sustainalytics is an independent ESG and corporate governance research, ratings and analytics firm.
As of October 2025, CRH has an ESG Risk Rating of 18.9 (Low Risk), reflecting our low exposure to industry-specific material ESG risks and our strong management of those risks.

In 2025, CRH was awarded a Prime rating for our ESG performance, the highest relative rating awarded by ISS ESG.
S&P GLOBAL
The Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices are designed for investors seeking to track equity markets while applying a sustainability best-in-class selection process.
Designated a constituent member of the Dow Jones Best in-Class North America Index, comprising sustainability leaders selected by the S&P Global ESG Score. In 2025 CRH celebrated 25 years of active participation in the S&P Corporate Sustainability Assessment. CRH continues to be included in S&P Global’s Global Sustainability Yearbook for its sector-leading ESG performance.
CDP
CDP is a global non-profit environmental disclosure system that collates data on companies, cities, states and regions to help them manage their environmental impacts.
In 2025, CRH was awarded the highest available rating of A for Climate and B for Water Security, demonstrating our commitment to environmental transparency and action.
